Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Timber Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling timber doors and windows according to client specifications and company standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble timber doors and windows to meet client requirements and quality standards.
  • Operate various woodworking machines (saws, planers, moulders) and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble timber components.
  • Evaluate and improve your work processes to ensure efficiency and precision in all joinery tasks.
  • Work from technical drawings and plans to create high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct fitting, installation, and adjustments to guarantee a perfect fit and finish.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition to avoid downtime and ensure productivity.
  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Timber Joiner, preferably in the production of doors and windows.
  • Proficiency in working with various timber types and hardwoods.
  • Able to read and work from technical drawings to interpret designs accurately.
  • Skilled in using woodworking machinery and hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship is essential for delivering high-quality products.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
