Digital Growth Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned digital leader to shape and drive the growth of our national digital media strategy, leading a high-performing team and driving performance-led marketing outcomes across paid, organic, and owned channels.
About the Role- Scope: National digital media strategy including paid search, social, display, video, SEO, affiliate, CRO;
- Team: 5 direct reports (Digital Specialists & Programmatic);
- Reports to: Head of Marketing;
- Focus: Commercial growth, optimisation, performance and capability-building; and
- Environment: Fast-paced, growth-focused, customer-first.
You will be responsible for owning strategy and performance across all digital marketing channels, driving full-funnel programs that are data-led, customer-centric and commercial in focus. You will also lead a team of specialists and represent digital growth in cross-functional and executive conversations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full-funnel digital media strategies across paid search, social, video, display, affiliate and CRO;
- Build and execute detailed roadmaps and optimisation frameworks;
- Drive innovation through test-and-learn programs and campaign experimentation;
- Deliver strong ROI across all paid digital activity;
- Lead campaign forecasting and budget planning using real-time data and performance insights;
- Own attribution reporting and performance dashboards, using them to inform business and marketing decisions;
- Work collaboratively with marketing, product, brand, CX, sales and digital development teams
- Negotiate partnerships and media deals with platforms including Google, Meta and affiliate providers
- Present strategy, updates and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Manage a team of digital and programmatic specialists;
- Set clear KPIs and ensure operational excellence;
- Mentor and coach team members while supporting digital upskilling across marketing.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in digital marketing/media, ideally within a highly compliant organisation, or digital agency;
- Strong commercial mindset with hands-on knowledge of paid media, attribution, and performance optimisation;
- Experience managing high-performing teams and digital media partners;
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRO tools, and analytics platforms; and
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
