Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Specialist to join our successful Vocational Rehabilitation Team in Darwin. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, providing return to work services, vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services across various schemes, including Workcover, Com Care, DVA, and Life Insurance industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, providing return to work services, vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services.
  • Work closely with our Team Leader and Branch Manager to support our customer network and improve team knowledge and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of others and demonstrate a proven ability to exceed performance targets, including RTW, Quality, and Service Delivery KPIs.
  • Utilize initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes, while maintaining an active caseload.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of our services.

Requirements

  • Professional Registration with either AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or AASW.
  • Allied Health Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work.
  • A minimum of two years of occupational rehabilitation or claims management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage additional responsibilities while maintaining an active caseload.
  • Proven ability to exceed performance targets, including RTW, Quality, and Service Delivery KPIs.
  • Contribution to the development of others.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team culture and growth.
  • Recognized as a 'go-to' person internally and externally.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Current driver's license and car.
