Role Overview

This leading organisation is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Financial Expert to join its finance team in a permanent capacity. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you take ownership of key month-end deliverables, financial reporting, compliance and stakeholder support.

About Your New Position

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Expert with excellent analytical skills to assist in managing the company's financial processes. This role will involve preparing management and board reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting external audit preparation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports, including journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of management and board reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage capital expenditure and fixed asset activities
  • Support BAS, FBT and other tax compliance requirements
  • Reconcile foreign currency transactions and intercompany loan activities
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth external audit preparation
  • Maintain proper documentation and adherence to internal controls
