We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Officer to join our dynamic healthcare team in the beautiful Goulburn Valley VIC. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Admit patients to the Acute Ward in accordance with health admissions policies.
- Conduct clinical handovers and complete discharge/transfer documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies across the health service, including resuscitative treatments.
- Cover the Urgent Care Centre, acute inpatients, and aged care residents during rostered shifts.
- Be on-call for urgent cases, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
- MBBS (or equivalent) qualification.
- General AHPRA Registration.
- Credentialing as a Senior Medical Officer, including General Practitioner status.
- Ideal Fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
- Competitive salary range of $160,000 - $180,000 per annum.
- 11% superannuation contribution and other professional allowances.
- Full-time schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.
- 4 hours per fortnight off inpatient/Urgent Care duties.
- Relocation assistance, including short-term accommodation arrangements.
