We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Rigger to join our team at DNEG. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for producing high-quality animation rigs for digital doubles, creatures, props, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop technical and creative solutions to create high-quality rigs according to production needs.
  • Work closely with Creature Supervisors and Animation Leads/Supervisors to develop suitable rigging solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth pipeline execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in VFX feature films/feature animation.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Maya.
  • Comfortable with technical aspects of character/creature work.
  • Programming or scripting skills, preferably in Python.
  • Strong visual and artistic skills.
  • Excellent understanding of anatomy.
