Job Description:

As a Cook in our Early Childhood Education and Care services, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's health and wellbeing by preparing nutritious meals. Your dedication to creating healthy, seasonal dishes based on thoughtfully planned menus will help fuel young minds and bodies every day.

This is a Monday to Friday position that offers a great work-life balance in a supportive and friendly environment. As a member of our team, you will be working efficiently independently as well as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and cooking healthy, seasonal meals for children and staff
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum Cert IV in Cookery
  • Experience with cooking for children and/or large numbers of people
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid Certificate
