Sante Recruitment on behalf of Sante by Ramberg Recruitment is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a Staff Specialist to join our team at the Launceston General Hospital in Northern Tasmania.
The hospital is a 440-bed public hospital providing acute care services for residents of the North and North West regions of Tasmania. It is a teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania.
As a Staff Specialist, you will be part of a diverse team of specialists, Advanced Trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine, and Basic Physician Trainees. You will have the opportunity to work in various workplace settings, including acute medicine, inpatient medical wards, outpatient clinics, stroke, and intermediate care.
The General Medicine Units are based on one ward in a brand new block, with each team supported by Allied Health specialists. The department has 12 Staff Specialists, and teams are organized into 4 Medical Units, each with its own Basic Training Registrar and Intern, and 2-3 consultants.
This position is accredited by the RACP for 12 months of BPT training and is supported by a team of 6.4 FTE consultants, 1 BPT ward registrar, and intern.

- Expected salary: $350,000 - $420,000 per year
