Your Mission

We seek a Strategic Business Development Specialist to join our fast-growing team. You will support the team in accelerating the distribution of Nuvei's products, focusing on the fintech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Establish an extensive pipeline of sales opportunities and accurately forecast sales to senior management.
  • Develop new sales opportunities and identify high-value prospects, focusing on selling Nuvei's products to e-commerce/digital goods/retail merchants.
  • Present large-scale technical products and innovative solutions to C-level prospects.
  • Directly identify and develop new sales partnership programs with merchants.
  • Exercise an international mindset and coordinate cross-country projects to intercept new opportunities from partners and industry regulatory changes.
  • Get accounts onboarded within the company's CRM system and work with internal teams to get the account live and processing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales within global enterprises, preferably in the payments industry.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role, ideally in the payments industry.
  • Strong operational skills and ability to handle hands-on tasks and missions.
  • Proven success in complex C-level negotiations, including technical, compliance, legal, and commercial aspects.
  • A significant track record of achievement and success within the targeted field of expertise.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships to gain and share information, such as industry trends.
  • Creative problem solver and ability to manage stressful situations while juggling multiple challenges.
  • Good organizational skills and willingness to travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly motivated team player.
