About the Role

We are seeking a Student Advocate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist teachers in implementing individualized Education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans. They will also provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their participation and engagement in classroom/educational activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement IEPs and behaviour support plans in accordance with school and departmental guidelines.
  2. Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, focusing on academic and social-emotional development.
  3. Collaborate with teachers, inclusion team, wellbeing staff, and external professionals to implement support strategies for students.
  4. Maintain accurate records of student progress, including documentation of observations and outcomes.
