Professional Mental Health Expert

As a civilian mental health professional working with the Australian Defence Force, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to military personnel serving in the Army, Air Force, and Navy. • Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and treatments to military personnel
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated healthcare services
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans to meet the diverse mental health needs of military members
• Coordinating care with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless support for patients
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services

• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in mental health, with expertise in comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain currency in mental health practice
• Knowledge of relevant State/Territory policies and procedures governing mental health practice
