Position Summary
As a Senior Associate specializing in Family Law, you will thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. Collaborating with Accredited Specialists and seasoned professionals, you will receive mentorship to further your career trajectory. This role offers a clear pathway for advancement to Special Counsel and higher.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse range of family law cases, encompassing divorce, child custody, property settlements, spousal maintenance, and domestic violence matters.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, providing empathetic and strategic legal counsel tailored to individual needs.
- Advocate for clients in court, demonstrating your litigation expertise and safeguarding their interests.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including Partners who are leaders in family law.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and mentorship initiatives.
- Leverage advanced legal technology and resources to deliver effective and efficient client solutions.
- Lead your own team, focusing on training and developing junior lawyers in family law practices.
Qualifications Required
- A minimum of 5 years of post-admission experience in Family Law, ideally from private practice.
- Accredited Specialist status is preferred.
- Proven ability to meet billable hour targets and manage a team of Paralegals and Junior Lawyers.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership and member development.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
