About the Role:

The YMCA WA is currently recruiting for Casual Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educators located at Albany Early Learning Centre. We are seeking confident Educators with strong communication skills for this role building genuine relationships with parents, children, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record observations of individual children or groups
  • Implement a program that reflects children's interest, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning
  • Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
  • Create positive relationships with children and families and team members

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Experience developing and implementing programs
  • HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance and Working with Children check (Willing to Obtain)
  • Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre is desirable
