This role is perfect for someone looking to kick-start or expand their career in clinical research, particularly within oncology. As a Clinical Research Assistant, you'll play an essential part in the coordination and delivery of clinical trials at one of Australia's most established private cancer clinical trials programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination and administration of oncology and haematology clinical trials across multiple phases.
  • Collect, process, and dispatch clinical trial samples and prepare laboratory kits according to study protocols.
  • Prepare for patient visits, coordinate appointment scheduling, and liaise with external hospitals regarding tissue or medical information requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical trial documentation, including Investigator Site Files and essential records in accordance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice).
  • Assist trial investigators with documentation reviews and sign-offs, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
  • Support remote and on-site monitoring visits by study sponsors and CROs. Occasionally travel between local clinics to assist with cross-site research activity.

Requirements

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant undergraduate degree (or working towards one) in Health Sciences, Nursing or Allied Health.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS office suite and database management.
  • Australian working rights and the ability to commit to full-time employment for the duration of the contract.
