Join a dynamic team of professionals in a leading global appliance company. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in strengthening the company's capability by providing support in developing, delivering, and implementing electrical solutions within the manufacturing plant.
About the RoleYou will engage with clients, contractors, and other employees to ensure projects are completed to specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support and identifying opportunities for factory improvements
- Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and meet project and production requirements
- Assisting the maintenance team in breakdowns where manufacturing engineering assistance is required and reviewing methods of manufacturing to ensure the most economical approach is utilized
- Implementing and continually improving the Work, Health and Safety and Injury Management systems while driving a safety culture by providing safety-focused leadership through positive attitudes and behaviors
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 0-2 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing or similar environment
- Good knowledge of automation systems, safety systems, and understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge in PLC/HMI, creating project documentation (functional descriptions, checklists, FAT, etc.), and knowledge of Siemens Automation
