This is a comprehensive job description for an experienced Cloud Consultant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on designing, implementing and optimizing hybrid IT solutions.

  • Evaluating clients' business needs and contributing to strategic planning of information systems facilities and software directions.
  • Being accountable for defined work assignments involving immediate action or short-term planning of human and other resources.
  • Planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete product implementation and assisting in preparation of major sales proposals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services.
  • Managing cloud migration projects, assisting clients in assessing, planning, and executing the migration of workloads from on-premises environments to Azure.
  • Providing expertise on cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
  • Developing and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

Requirements and Experience:

  • 6 - 10 years of experience in business management, IT, systems integration consulting, design, coupled with a tertiary qualification.
  • 2+ years experience in consulting, engagement/project management, and/or business and resource management.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain.
