We are seeking an experienced Biochemistry Scientist to supervise the Biochemistry team in our busy pathology laboratory. In this role, you will manage the daily workflow of the laboratory to deliver a high-quality service that meets the clinical needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily workflow of the laboratory to deliver a high-quality service
  • Supervise the Biochemistry team and provide guidance on instrumentation, quality control, and quality assurance
  • Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless laboratory operations
  • Contribute to the development of new laboratory procedures and protocols
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience working in diagnostic Biochemistry in a NATA accredited lab
  • Strong focus on quality assurance and quality control
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
