We are seeking a skilled Reinforcing Steel Scheduler to join our team at GFG Alliance. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to our customers across various segments of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Planning, Production, and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects.
  • Generate bar, cutting, and bending lists from reading structural and architectural drawings.
  • Work with customers to ensure drawings and production schedules meet customer needs.
  • Identify potential production or product solutions and negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs.
  • Manage customer enquiries regarding product status and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably in reinforcing steel.
  • Ability to coordinate scheduling of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate structural and engineering drawings into production schedules.
  • Excellent time management skills to maintain customer delivery programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
