Technical Architect

Job Description

The Technical Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise-wide solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of technology platforms, including their core capabilities and integrations.

  • Strategic Planning and Consultation:
    • Assess business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions
    • Lead architectural discussions, influencing decisions regarding technology implementations
    • Evangelize the usage of reusable frameworks and artifacts, create knowledge/certification artifacts and evaluation criteria guide
  • Design and Implementation:
    • Design sustainable technology architectures, including integration with other enterprise systems
    • Oversee the development and customization of technology applications using various tools
  • Governance and Best Practices:
    • Develop and enforce technology best practices and governance frameworks
    • Ensure solutions are built for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions
    • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their technology capabilities
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of technology product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies
    • Recommend and implement improvements to existing technology solutions

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with technology platforms and development tools, proficiency in integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JWT)
  • Architectural Acumen: Strong ability to design scalable, high-performing technology architectures, experience with technology application customization and configuration
  • Experience & Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, required certifications: Technology Senior or Lead Developer Certification

Additional Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and architecting via technology platforms
  • Must have played architect role in end-to-end execution of 3-4 technology projects
  • Exposure to scalable design patterns using Java, J2EE, Micro services-based architecture
