Job Opportunity for Boilermaker-Welders

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Boilermaker-Welders to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication organization, you will be responsible for various tasks and duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mark and fabricate new or repair structural steel and other metal stock
  • Bolt or arc-weld pressure vessel structures and parts together, using wrenches and welding equipment
  • Examine steel structures such as boilers, pressure vessels and tanks to locate and repair defects such as leaks, weak spots, and defective sections
  • Inspect assembled vessels and individual components, such as tubes, fittings, valves, controls, and auxiliary mechanisms, to locate and repair any defects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Australian equivalent Certificate IV or higher
  • Some experience in the industry
  • At least 3 years' industry experience can be considered in lieu of the qualification
Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $77,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation depending on experience, skills and professional aptitude. The roles are open to Australian citizens and Permanent Residents as well as overseas professional workers who can apply.
