About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer with strong project management skills to lead and/or be part of our Blacktown City Council civil works program. This is a full-time permanent position based in NSW, within a high-performance team that specializes in delivering large complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and train a small team of professionals in design management, procurement, and superintendency during the construction phase.
  • Oversee land acquisition, obtain planning approvals, and manage utility service authority designs and approvals.
  • Manage the construction stages, including tender and engagement of construction contractors, contractor performance management, and site management.
  • Act as a Superintendents Representative and manage all aspects of contract administration.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or other relevant degree with significant experience.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience managing roads and drainage projects, preferably at a local government level.
  • 'White Card' Construction Safety Induction required.
  • Ability to travel to different sites across Greater Sydney Metro area and hold a driver's license.
