**Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced investment director to join our team. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to developing an inclusive, diverse and collaborative culture at TIQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management of the workforce and workload planning, ensuring recruitment, performance management and learning and development processes are in place to reflect organisational priorities.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management (Investment Attraction)
  • Provide recommendations and monitor KPI's to support commercial investment outcomes and to effectively realise benefits from the Queensland Trade and Investment Strategy 2022-2032.
  • Engage with overseas investors to provide advice on current and proposed investment projects to achieve successful investment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with international offices and across government to coordinate international efforts in investment attraction, reinvestment and aftercare.
  • Manage risk and ensure appropriate governance is applied, ensuring all GIA activities are within policy and procedure and that GIA's budget is monitored and managed.
  • Leverage your strong networks and track record of investment facilitation to directly contribute to the team's pipeline and outcomes.
  • Initiate, oversee and develop formal TIQ investment related responses, briefing notes, reports, presentations, and correspondence.

**Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a degree in business or a related field and significant experience in investment management. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
