Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Control Specialist to join our team at the Perenti Group. As a key member of our WA Sales Team, you will be responsible for determining demand and priorities for our products and working closely with our Inventory and Operation teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing market trends, sales forecasts, and historical data to develop accurate demand forecasts for Service Exchange production and inventory.
  • Liaising with internal departments and managing key relationships to ensure alignment between demand plans and business objectives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on actual sales performance and forecasted demands to identify and address any gaps or discrepancies.
  • Demand forecasting to key stakeholders, management, sales teams, and production planners.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize core turns and inventory value.
  • Actively promoting and contributing to a positive Health, Safety, and Environment Culture through leading by example.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role with the heavy mobile equipment industry or related sectors.
  • A component rebuilds and planning background is desired.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Proficient in production and planning software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proactive, highly motivated person with strong communication and team working skills and a high level of time management.
  • Computer literate with MS Office 365 Word, Advanced MS Excel.
