Our Ideal Candidate for Equipment Coordinator/Driver Role:

The Equipment Coordinator/Driver plays a critical role in bridging the gap between our branch, customers and their projects. This position requires providing expert advice, facilitating pickups and deliveries, and ensuring our equipment is always ready for hire.

  • They instruct and demonstrate to customers on safe equipment usage.
  • As the Driver, they perform pickups and deliveries of equipment from customer sites, including safely loading and unloading equipment.
  • They deliver exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.
  • Maintenance of high-quality equipment standards is achieved through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  • Cleaning of branch facilities and maintenance of equipment as required are also part of this role.
  • Equipment check-in and check-out inspections are performed.

Requirements for Success:

  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Availability to work weekends is necessary.
  • This role demands physical components, including lifting and standing for extended periods. A level of physical fitness is required, along with the ability to pass a drug test.
  • Strong communication skills are vital.
  • Being proactive and willing to learn new skills is highly valued.
  • An interest in machinery and equipment, though not essential, can be an asset.
  • A positive attitude and team-player mindset are desirable qualities.
