This healthcare practice operates multiple clinics in the Cairns region, including locations in Manoora and Edmonton. The primary workplace for this role is the Edmonton clinic, conveniently situated approximately 20 minutes from Cairns. The practice offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including chronic disease management and health services tailored for men, women, children, and maternal health. Additionally, allied health services such as dietetics, diabetes education, optometry, and podiatry are available. Oral health services are also provided on-site at both Manoora and Edmonton clinics. A holistic approach to care is emphasized, integrating social and emotional wellbeing programs that address cultural, emotional, environmental, and spiritual health aspects.Role Responsibilities:
The Podiatrist will deliver exceptional podiatric services that align with health promotion and illness prevention principles, ensuring excellence in clinical management.Qualifications & Experience Required:- A recognized qualification in podiatry, complemented by practical knowledge and experience in a community health setting.
- A strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A valid driver's license.
