**Engineering Team Lead Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, designing, and scaling our engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
  • Guide a high-performing engineering team
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices and processes
  • Guide technical strategy and architecture for scalable systems
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams
  • Oversee project delivery, timelines, and resources
  • Provide hands-on leadership in design, reviews, and problem-solving
  • Communicate progress, risks, and technical trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Champion innovation and adoption of new technologies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Lead, ideally in biotech, agtech, or related industries
  • Strong background in systems design or industrial automation
  • Experience building and scaling engineering teams in a commercial environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and modern engineering practices
  • Passion for sustainability and biotechnology
  • Exposure to IoT, robotics, or process automation
  • Knowledge of bioprocessing, cultivation systems, or lab/industrial instrumentation
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, control systems, or machine learning integration
