Key Role of a Speech Pathologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of Speech Pathologist in our organisation. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with physical or intellectual disabilities.

This role will involve working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services to clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients from adults to children, providing flexible support either in their homes, community settings or from our office space.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-centred services
  • Providing flexible support to clients in various settings
  • Collaborating with Senior Practitioners and other Allied Health Professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate clinical supports
  • Contributing to the development of professional skills through internal practice communities

Requirements:

  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current driver's license (cars provided)
  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly across a diverse range of settings to meet client needs
