Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Management Accountant to join our team at Cosca Group.

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and possess a strong background in the Accounting and Financial Planning industry. This role will be critical in supporting our financial operations and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

This individual is eager to develop and advance within the company, eventually stepping into a CFO position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate directly with the CEO and Directors to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Reporting and Audits: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual audits.
  • Leadership and Supervision: In time, manage an accounts department to assist you in performing your duties.
  • Data Insights: Work with the CEO on Data Insights in the business both non-financial and financial.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Accounting Principles and Regulations: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: PowerBI and SQL Data Experience or willingness to learn and grow.
