Defence Digital Cyber Security Specialist

This is a fast-paced role within a high-profile defence program under the Chief Security Architect. You'll work on complex projects, developing your technical skills under experienced leaders.
The primary focus will be deploying, configuring, and sustaining cyber security products, including Host Based Security Products, SIEM, Network IPS, and management solutions. Automation of existing security processes and ongoing deployment of Application Whitelisting across a complex environment are also key objectives.
In this position, you'll mentor and advise a team of SOC Analysts, who rely on the toolsets you provide. Delivering secure services to the program is a top priority.
You'll work with a seasoned team to develop secure solutions for our clients. This is a collaborative environment where you can share knowledge and expertise with your peers.
As a successful candidate, you'll need to demonstrate three years of experience in cyber security, resolving complex technical issues. Experience in enterprise environments and Linux/Wintel disciplines is desirable.
Candidates must hold relevant certifications, such as SANS or ISACA. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal, along with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

To succeed, you must be an Australian citizen with a current NV1 clearance and the ability to obtain NV2.
