About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities Division is seeking an experienced HSEQ professional to support its operations in VIC. This role will focus on ensuring the company meets its safety, environment, quality, and client obligations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSEQ and experience working with local business management and workers to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing HSEQ advice and support to VIC Utilities project teams.
• Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their HSEQ duties.
• Supporting the implementation of HSEQ policies, systems, programs, and initiatives.
• Promoting a safe and positive work culture and modeling safety leadership principles.
• Project field work, critical control effectiveness, and investigations.
• Assisting in continually improving the company’s risk management capabilities.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ role with a strong quality background.
• Working knowledge of legislation, standards, and codes, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS 4801 standards.
• Prior experience managing safety, environment, and quality requirements on major engineering or construction projects.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Relevant qualification in WHS/OH&S, Quality, and/or Environment or Engineering/Science.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
