Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Room Leader is responsible for leading the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care, guided by contemporary pedagogy and practice. They will lead the planning and programming in consultation with other educators to uphold the centre's educational program and philosophy.

About This Role:

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with management to model pedagogical practices aligned with the educational philosophy and foster a positive work culture through mentoring educators.
  • Educational Delivery: Develop plans, deliver, and coordinate integrated teaching and learning strategies guided by individual learning needs of each child.
  • Compliance and Child Safety: Understand Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, Child Protection, and Child Safe Standards.
  • Communication: Utilize effective communication skills to develop meaningful relationships with staff, families, and children.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Strong understanding of contemporary early childhood education principles and practices
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
