About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Group Fitness Instructor to join our Leisure Services team at Wellington Shire Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality group fitness classes to a diverse range of clients.
  • Develop and implement new group fitness programs to meet the needs of our community.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to promote a positive and inclusive fitness environment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe fitness facility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our members.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in conducting and supervising group fitness classes.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in the fitness industry.
  • Ability to effectively work as a team member and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Les Mills GEL component for Les Mills qualifications or group exercise qualifications equivalent to Group Exercise Freestyle component (Certificate III in Fitness).
  • Certificate IV Specialisation Module in Exercise for Children and Young Adolescents (or equivalent).
