Role Description

We are seeking a casual Early Childhood Education Tertiary Supervisor to support our students on Professional Experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for observing lessons, providing support and mentoring, and liaising with supervising teachers and the Professional Experience Coordinator.

This role is ideal for those who are passionate about early childhood education and have experience in teaching at a tertiary level. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our students and staff to provide a high-quality learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe allocated students on Professional Experience and provide feedback and guidance.
  • Liaise with supervising teachers to ensure a smooth experience for all involved.
  • Communicate effectively with the Professional Experience Coordinator to address any queries or concerns.
Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will possess relevant qualifications in early childhood education, teaching experience within Australia, and a strong understanding of current trends in Initial Teacher education. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education.
  • Teaching experience in Australia.
  • Experience in teaching at a tertiary level, including curriculum development and modification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools.
