Senior Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead our team in delivering major projects across Sydney.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Level 1 projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within commercial outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes specialising in overhead and underground power distribution.
  • Driving continuous improvement in project processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with utilities, developers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Supervising and mentoring site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Managing project risk, from identification through to mitigation.
  • Conducting site inspections and overseeing procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Identifying and supporting new business opportunities and innovative solutions.
  • Mentoring and developing internal team members, nurturing future leaders.
  • Engaging collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require formal qualifications in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree level preferred). You must have demonstrated experience managing complex overhead and underground construction projects up to 11kV. A proven track record in project management, with a focus on safety leadership and HSE performance, is also necessary.

You will need excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, as well as commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset. A valid driver's licence is also required.
