We are seeking an experienced Accident and Health underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our broker partners, including underwriting, referrals, profitability, budgeting, system training, renewal strategy, and distribution strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Accident and Health underwriting and have the ability to underwrite and manage Corporate Travel & Group Personal Accident Business. They will also be responsible for achieving agreed new business, renewal retention, and loss ratio targets.
In addition, the successful candidate will conduct and achieve broker visitation targets for the segment/panel and increase market share through visitation and improved relationships with key internal/external producers.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Accident and Health underwriting and managing a broker portfolio
- Knowledge of Accident and Health products and underwriting processes
- Strong account management skills with a proven track record of developing solid internal and external customer relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of the insurance industry and underwriting appetites
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
