Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking hospitality workers to fill casual shifts at an aged care home in Innaloo.
The successful applicant will be multiskilled and willing to work in at least one of the roles listed below:
About the Role:- Kitchen Hand:
• Ensuring facility areas are clean and safe, and all food hygiene standards are met
• Assisting in preparation, portioning and serving of meals
• Maintaining all utensils, equipment, and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
• Removal of waste in a safe manner
• Deep cleaning as per requirements
• Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery
• Assisting in the preparation and portioning of meals
• Assisting with the setting up of dining rooms - Domestic Assistant:
• Cleaning of furniture, bathrooms, toilets, and floors
• Dispose of waste products appropriately
• Maintain living areas in a clean and safe condition
• Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
• Plan duties to ensure service is delivered in the time allocated
- Possess a passion for, and previous experience in Hospitality role ideally in an aged care environment
- Have a 'can do' attitude and a genuine compassion for residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
