The Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Advisor to drive positive health and safety change in the workplace. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising leaders and workers on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace.
  • Monitor daily site tasks and provide advice on risks and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures, regulatory, and legislative requirements for Health and Safety.
  • Provide OHS induction and training to all employees and subcontractors.
  • Manage Subcontractor compliance.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance.
  • Investigate any injuries, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate return to work activities.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Degree, Diploma, or similar, and current membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, planning, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to positively influence improved Health and Safety outcomes.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from AU$80,000 to AU$120,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
