Our client is a family-owned business that specializes in comprehensive construction and maintenance services. With a strong presence in the South Australian market, they undertake a wide range of projects, from minor maintenance work to large-scale initiatives.
The Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Advisor to drive positive health and safety change in the workplace. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising leaders and workers on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace.
- Monitor daily site tasks and provide advice on risks and controls.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, regulatory, and legislative requirements for Health and Safety.
- Provide OHS induction and training to all employees and subcontractors.
- Manage Subcontractor compliance.
- Conduct audits to verify compliance.
- Investigate any injuries, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate return to work activities.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Degree, Diploma, or similar, and current membership of a relevant professional institution.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, planning, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to positively influence improved Health and Safety outcomes.

What We OfferAs a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from AU$80,000 to AU$120,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
