About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Georgiou Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients on our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and coaching to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure health and safety is integrated into project planning and delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of WA safety legislation and regulations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
