This role is responsible for assisting dentists in delivering high-quality patient care. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive exceptional treatment.
About the JobKey responsibilities include:
- Patient Flow Management: Coordinate with the dentist and reception team to ensure smooth appointment scheduling and payment processes.
- Chair Side Assistance: Prepare instruments and materials, assist with clinical procedures, perform data entry, and develop radiographs as needed.
- Surgery Organisation: Maintain infection control, clean and maintain the surgery, manage waste, and support other dental assistants as required.
- Sterile Supply Unit Management: Clean and prepare handpieces for sterilisation, process instruments, monitor stock levels, and report any discrepancies.
- Work Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to WHS policies, report hazardous conditions, and participate in health and safety activities to promote a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant dental knowledge and experience, excellent communication skills, and basic computer literacy. They should also demonstrate a neat appearance, good personal hygiene, and confidentiality.
