
Auxiliary Volunteer Fire Service Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for responding to emergency incidents, promoting community safety, and developing competencies through regular training sessions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a strong commitment to ensuring the safety of people and property.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency incidents and participate in regular training sessions to develop and maintain competencies.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.
- Contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A manual C-class driver's licence.
- Australian permanent resident status.
- The ability to live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
