Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated dietitian to provide evidence-based specialised nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and ambulatory patients.

The ideal candidate will have some acute clinical experience in oncology, leadership skills, excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. A structured and supportive supervision model is provided, as well as opportunities for mentoring and professional development.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through provision of nutritional assessment and management plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance cancer care services.

Required qualifications and skills:

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • A degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
  • Minimum 12 months acute clinical experience in oncology.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
