Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Automotive Technical Trainer to enhance the skills and knowledge of technicians in the automotive sector. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of technicians throughout their careers.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Technical Training Manager to ensure that all training materials are aligned with industry standards and company objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate training sessions across various markets, ensuring that technicians are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging technical training sessions (both in-person and virtual) for various levels of technicians.
  • Regularly assess and update training content to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  • Promote attendance and participation in training events to maximize learning opportunities.
  • Apply modern adult learning principles to enhance the effectiveness of training delivery.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Understanding of business management principles, including performance metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and virtual training tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in the automotive field and training experience.
  • Certification in Training & Assessment or progress towards equivalent credentials.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a training role is preferred.
