\Job Overview\

The Residential Manager role requires effective leadership to manage the operations of an aged care facility. The successful candidate will ensure that residents are well cared for in a caring environment, while aligning culture, processes and practices with organisational strategies and policies.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Lead the overall operations of the facility to deliver high-quality services to residents and their families.\
  • Create a positive work culture for staff through effective leadership and HR management.\
  • Manage resources and finances effectively.\
  • Ensure quality planning, implementation and evaluation.\
  • Promote an interactive WHS system to ensure optimum health and wellbeing of staff.
\Essential Skills and Qualifications:\
  • A high level of business acumen including strong financial management experience.\
  • Leadership skills and the ability to delegate.\
  • Aged Care experience highly desirable.\
  • Previous management experience of diverse teams.\
  • Knowledge of ACFI, the Aged Care Act, WHS, accreditation and continuous improvement.\
  • A passion for Aged Care.\
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.\
  • Clinical background as an RN or related discipline is highly desirable.\
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration desirable.
