About the Role

The Regulatory Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that the organization's activities are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The team works closely with other departments to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.

This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs, and will be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, and will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the organization's success.

  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies and programs;
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with regulatory non-compliance;
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that compliance requirements are met;
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and provide guidance to colleagues on compliance matters;
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support compliance objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively;
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional certification in compliance or a related field (e.g. CCO, GCCH, etc.);
  • Experience working in a regulated industry;
  • Knowledge of financial services regulation;
  • Proven experience in managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
