We are seeking skilled software professionals who can address security weaknesses, not just identify them.

Job Role

This is a hands-on coding position where you will be responsible for fixing vulnerabilities, automating security processes and future-proofing application security in a large-scale consumer banking environment.

The team is a newly formed Vulnerability Management practice with a vast scope of securing 100+ applications and addressing 18,000 vulnerabilities in the backlog.

No prior security background is necessary as we need talented developers with an interest in secure coding principles.

You will work on resolving vulnerabilities in Java, C#, Node.js or React and focus on automation to build scalable security solutions.

Collaboration with system teams is crucial as you will solve real security issues uncovered in reviews.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Fix security vulnerabilities and strengthen application security.
  2. Automate security processes for efficient vulnerability remediation.
  3. Work closely with development, operations and customer support teams.
  4. Help establish secure coding best practices across the business.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. 2-5 years experience in software engineering.
  2. Proficiency in Java, C#, Node.js or React.
  3. Understanding of vulnerabilities, secure coding and automation is a plus but not required.
  4. Experience with security tools like Snyk, Tenable or Fortify is a plus.
  5. Ability to communicate security risks and influence engineering teams.
