Job Description

This role is focused on leveraging data science to drive strategic insights for our business. As an AI Data Scientist, you will partner with cross-functional teams to inform and influence strategy decisions.

You will use data to shape product development, quantify new opportunities, identify upcoming challenges, and ensure that our products bring value to people, businesses, and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence AI product feature development and roadmaps through structured analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate on various product and business problems with diverse cross-functional partners, becoming a trusted strategic partner through clear and concise communication.
  • Apply technical expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data presentation to develop strategies and solve business challenges, particularly focusing on the fast-paced Atlassian Intelligence suite of features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or related fields.
  • Ability to craft analysis into well-written and persuasive content.
  • Proficiency in SQL and another data manipulation programming language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience driving projects or programs that have had a proven impact on business strategy and performance through analytics skills.
