Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, overseeing the management of contracts and ensuring seamless collaboration with various stakeholders. As a Senior Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively managing contracts, tracking performance, and administering service providers. This includes preparing tender documentation, facilitating the tender process, and monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract conditions and KPIs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, staff management, interpersonal, and communication skills. They will have extensive experience in contract and contractor management, contractual performance tracking, and procurement. The ability to prepare tender documentation, tender evaluation, services contracts, performance monitoring, and KPIs in the property industry is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to exercise initiative and flexibility in development of robust solutions to problems.

Responsibilities:

* Proactively manage contracts, track performance, and administer service providers
* Prepare tender documentation, facilitate the tender process, and monitor contractor performance
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication
* Develop and maintain an effective contract management system, including contract administration guidelines, policy, and procedures
* Manage financial aspects of contracts and their budgets, including purchase orders, management reporting, and financial forecasts

Requirements:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum 5 years applied experience in contract and financial management in facilities or construction contract management or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience
* Excellent leadership qualities, staff management, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Extensive experience in contract and contractor management, contractual performance tracking, and procurement
* Ability to prepare tender documentation, tender evaluation, services contracts, performance monitoring, and KPIs in the property industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to exercise initiative and flexibility in development of robust solutions to problems
