Technical Support Specialist L1

This role involves providing technical assistance for meeting rooms and AV equipment across the campus. We are looking for an individual who can work effectively with both on-site and off-site teams to ensure prompt resolution of any technical issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setup and Technical Support for AV and VC systems in meeting rooms
  • Fault Finding and Troubleshooting of AV equipment
  • Escalating Incidents to regional lead when necessary
  • Supporting Events involving AV systems
  • Providing Reporting on room conditions and recommending upgrades
  • Carrying Out Proactive Health Checks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Service Continuity Support, including preparation for restoration of service
  • Assisting with Software Upgrades and video/audio conferencing problems
  • Maintaining Multimedia/Presentation Rooms in good working order

Key Requirements

  • Manual Handling Tasks may be required when moving equipment
