Trainee in Supply Chain Operations

Our staff aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure we're the best in the business.
We're looking for Year 10 and 11 students to undertake a School-based Traineeship where you'll work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. This traineeship will involve working in a Reece branch and completing certificate requirements, such as workbooks and on-the-job training and assessments.
The role is based at Plumbing Wendouree and includes responsibilities such as embracing Reece values, providing customer service, completing certificate requirements, processing sales, and managing stock. You'll also be expected to answer the phone, communicate with customers and staff, build product knowledge, and contribute to maintaining the branch at a high standard.
About you: we're looking for students with good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm, and a great attitude. You'll also need to be a team player and willing to maintain a neat and tidy workplace. Students will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week, with Saturday availability and additional hours during school holidays recommended.
