Role Summary:

We are seeking a Case Manager to engage with individuals who have drug and alcohol problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment and case management to improve lifestyle and health, and reducing re-offending.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and intensive case management to defendants with drug and/or alcohol issues
  • Deliver support, counselling, and treatment to individuals with complex needs
  • Liaise and work in partnership with government and non-government services, and community groups
  • Demonstrate leadership within a diverse range of settings and ability to work autonomously or as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain high-level communication skills, written and oral communication, and computer skills


Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist
  • Eligibility for membership with relevant professional associations (Social Worker, Counsellor, or Welfare Officer)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of holistic treatment and prevention approaches in the alcohol and other drugs field
  • Ability to drive/travel as the role requires
